Everyone wants to drop fat and get the shredded look… but not everyone is willing to do what it takes. My client Zain, a 27-year-old South Asian guy, proved that when he went from 78kg to 65kg.
Here’s the reality of what it took him to get there. Spoiler: it wasn’t magic genetics or a Hollywood budget.
1. Weight Training (4 days per week)
Zain works full-time in a lab, on his feet all day, Monday to Friday. No “fitness influencer” lifestyle here.
Despite that, he committed to his training:
-
First 4–8 weeks → 4 gym sessions a week.
-
Then → added a 5th session, focused on cardio and abs.
- His main training routine consisted of upper and lower body sessions, with a lot of compound exercises to help push and challenge his muscles to maintain and in some cases grow as he began losing the fat.
- Cardio was the cherry on top, we didn’t rely on that alone to lose weight (and you never should).
That consistency stacked up… and the results showed.
2. He Tracked His Calories (Most of the Time)
Notice I didn’t say he tracked perfectly? Because he didn’t. And that’s fine.
But Zain took control of his food. He logged his meals most days, understood what was going in, and that gave him the power to adjust when he needed.
If you don’t know what you’re eating, you’re basically guessing your way through fat loss.
3. Cooked His Own Meals
No secret meal prep companies or mum cooking the meals. No fancy hacks. Zain cooked his own food 90% of the time, when he wasn’t having the odd date nights with his girlfriend.
That meant he was in control of portions, calories, and protein most of the time and didn’t rely on someone else to “fix” his diet.
It’s simple, but it’s powerful.
4. He Still Lived His Life (balance is key)
Here’s the important part: Zain didn’t lock himself away.
-
He went out for date nights with his girlfriend.
-
He celebrated his birthday.
-
He had trips away.
But he learned how to balance all that with his goals. He didn’t have to give up his life, he just needed the right strategies, which we planned and set up to help deal with these special events.
5. He Trusted the Plan
The truth? Zain’s transformation wasn’t about chasing motivation. It was more about discipline. He showed up. He trusted the plans and tips I gave him…and he executed them!
That’s why he stepped into his photoshoot lean, confident, and looking the best he ever has.
Quick Highlights:
- Zain, came from a big leg injury
- Day job: Mon-Fri (9-5pm in a lab)
- Training sessions: 4-5 weight lifting sessions and cardio at the end
Are you ready to make a change?
Getting shredded isn’t easy, but it’s possible. Zain isn’t a pro athlete. He’s a regular guy with a full-time job who decided to commit.
If you’re ready to stop guessing, stop starting over, and finally get the results you’ve been chasing, I’ll show you the exact plan to make it happen.
